The **Camera Overview** (*Kamera Übersicht*, page title *Packing Table Cameras*) shows the live images of cameras mounted above your packing tables. An image recognition detects the articles on the table and compares them with the items of the order that is currently being packed. You see at a glance which items are complete, which are still missing and what is lying on the table that does not belong to the order.

The recognition only gives hints – it never books stock or changes an order.

## Before you start

- Your user needs the permission **Camera Overview** in the **Administration** area of the permissions tree. Ask your administrator.
- The image recognition service must be activated for your company. Contact X-Sitter support to activate it. Until then the page shows **Inference Service Not Configured** (*Inference-Service nicht konfiguriert*).
- The packing tables are set up under [Packing tables](/company/packing-tables.md) and have a camera (webcam) that sends images from the [packing station](/outbound/packing.md).

## Step by step

1. Open **Administration › Camera Overview** (*Administration › Kamera Übersicht*).
2. Under **Cameras** (*Kameras*) you see one tile per camera, with its station name and whether it is **online** or **offline**. A camera appears as soon as it sends images.
3. Click a camera tile. Its image is shown large, together with the user who is logged in at that station.
4. Look at the **Detection** panel (*Erkennung*) – see below.
5. To watch all stations one after another, choose an **Interval** (*Intervall*: 5, 8, 15 or 30 seconds) and click **Cycle through** (*Durchschalten*). Click **Stop** to end it.

### Show the camera preview to the packer

For registered packing tables, each camera tile has a preview switch. With it you decide whether the packer sees the small camera preview with the detection on their packing screen.

## What the detection panel shows

| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Recognized** (*Erkannt*) | Articles detected in the current image, each with the confidence in percent. A detection that just disappeared stays visible greyed out for a few seconds ("x s ago"). |
| **Order** (*Auftrag*) | Order number of the parcel being packed, with **complete** or the number of missing pieces. |
| **Items** (*Positionen*) | Each order item with detected/ordered quantity, e.g. 1/2. Red as long as something is missing, green with a check mark when complete. |
| **Not in order** (*Nicht im Auftrag*) | Detected articles that do not belong to the order – for example goods already prepared for the next order. These are not treated as errors. |

## Good to know / Troubleshooting
