With the **Design settings** (*Design Einstellungen*) you adapt X-Sitter to your corporate design: your logo, a small icon, your display name and the colors of the sidebar and top navigation. Your clients see X-Sitter in your design too – they automatically get the design of their logistician when they log in.

## Before you start

- Your user needs the permission *Company Settings › Design settings*. Ask your administrator.
- Have your logo and icon ready as JPG, PNG or SVG. For the icon, a small square graphic works best.

## Step by step

1. Open **Company Settings › Design settings** (*Firmen Einstellungen › Design Einstellungen*).
2. Under **App Logo**, click **Select logo** (*Logo auswählen*) and choose your logo file.
3. Under **App Icon**, click **Select icon** (*Icon auswählen*) and choose the icon. It is shown when the sidebar is collapsed.
4. Enter a **Display Name**, e.g. your company name.
5. Enter the **Sidebar, top navigation background color** (*Sidebar, Topnav- Hintergrundfarbe*) and the **Menu font color** (*Schriftfarbe der Menüs*). The small box next to each field shows a preview of the color.
6. Click **Save** (*Speichern*). You see "The settings have been saved".

## Fields and options

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **App Logo** | Your logo in the sidebar. JPG, PNG or SVG. |
| **App Icon** | Small icon for the collapsed sidebar (*Für die verkleinerte Sidebar*). JPG, PNG or SVG. |
| **Display Name** | Name shown in the app instead of "X-Sitter App". |
| **Sidebar, top navigation background color** | Background color of the sidebar and the top bar. Enter a color code, e.g. `#104148` (default). |
| **Menu font color** | Font color of the menu entries, e.g. `rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5)` (default). |

## Good to know

- The design applies to your company and to all your [clients](/company/clients.md). Clients cannot set their own design.
- After a user has logged in once, the login page in that browser also shows your logo and background color.
- Changes become visible for other users the next time they log in.
- Choose a font color with enough contrast to the background color, so the menu stays readable.
