JTL monthly report (net profit)

The Monthly Report (Net Profit) (Monats Report (Netto Gewinn)) evaluates the order items of your JTL-Wawi for a chosen period. For every item it shows the net sales price, the net purchase price of the standard supplier, the platform fees, the shipping costs and the resulting net profit. The data is read live from your JTL database.

Before you start

• Your company needs a JTL connection, see Connect JTL-Wawi.
• Your user needs the permission JTL WaWi › Monthly Report – ask your administrator.
• Platform fees and shipping costs are taken from your additional cost rules for JTL. Set them up under Company Settings › Additional costs settings (Firmen Einstellungen › Nebenkosten Einstellungen), see Additional costs. Without rules, the fee and shipping columns stay at zero.

Step by step

1. In the top bar open JTL WaWi › Monthly Report (Net Profit) (JTL WaWi › Monats Report (Netto Gewinn)). The page is titled Daily Evaluation (Tägliche Auswertung). The current month up to today is preselected.
2. Click the date field and choose the start and end date.
3. Click Search orders (Bestellungen suchen).
4. Optional: choose a JTL platform in the platform filter, or -- All -- (-- Alle --) for all platforms. The page reloads immediately.

Fields and options

The first header row shows the totals of the period: number of orders, number of items, net sales, net purchase price, platform fees, shipping and net profit.

Column	Meaning
Time (Uhrzeit)	Time the order was created in JTL
External order number (Bestellnummer)	The JTL order number – despite its English column name, not the number of the shop
external order no. (externe Bestell-Nr.)	Order number of the shop or marketplace
Article number (Artikelnummer)	Article number with the ordered quantity below it
Supplier no. (Lieferanten Nr.)	Article number at the standard supplier. A truck icon marks a dropshipping article (Dropshipping Artikel)
Article name (Artikelname)	Name of the item
Platform (Plattform)	JTL platform of the order
Net sales price (VK Netto)	Net sales price of the item
Net purchase price (EK Netto)	Net purchase price of the standard supplier
Platform percentage (Portal Prozente)	Percentage fee of the platform from your additional cost rules
Platform fee (Portal Gebühr)	Fee amount of the platform for this item
Shipping (Versand)	Shipping costs charged by the platform minus your own shipping costs, split across the items of the order
Net profit (Gewinn Netto)	Net sales − platform fee + shipping charged − own shipping costs − net purchase price

Good to know / Troubleshooting

Message / symptom	Cause	Solution

The page stays empty	There are no orders in the chosen period	Choose a different period
The page loads for a long time	Large period on the live JTL database	Choose a shorter period

• Cancelled orders and items without a sales price are not counted.
• The report only reads from JTL. Nothing is changed.
