Report: Article list
The Article list (Artikel Liste) report shows every article that was sold in the last five calendar weeks, with its revenue and sales per week and a weighted weekly average. Recent weeks count more than older ones, so you quickly see which articles are currently selling well and need to be reordered.
Before you start
- Your user needs the permissions for Reports and Reports › Article list (Reporte › Artikel Liste). Ask your administrator if the menu entry is missing.
- The report is based on the order statistics of your company. They are imported with an import template of the type Bestell-Statistik (order statistics), see Import templates.
- Each article must exist in your article master data with the same article number (SKU). Sold items that cannot be found there are left out.
Step by step
- Open Reports › Article list (Reporte › Artikel Liste) in the top menu.
- The report determines all articles sold from the Monday four weeks ago until now and loads them in packages of 25. While loading you see the progress, e.g. "120 of 340 articles loaded" (… von … Artikeln geladen). Wait until all articles are loaded.
- Evaluate the table:
- Click a column header to sort.
- Use the Manufacturer selection above the table to show only one manufacturer.
- Type into the search fields below each column to filter that column.
- Click the chart icon in front of an SKU to open the Single article report for this article in a new tab.
Columns
The table has three column groups. The second header row shows the totals of all loaded articles.
Below each article, one line per sales channel shows the same revenue and sales figures for that channel.
How the weighted weekly average is calculated
The four completed weeks are weighted from oldest to newest with 5 %, 10 %, 30 % and 55 %. The current, still running week is shown but not included. Weeks without sales are left out and the remaining weights are scaled up accordingly.
Example: 10 units in the oldest week, then 20, 30 and 40 units in the following weeks give (10 × 5 + 20 × 10 + 30 × 30 + 40 × 55) ÷ 100 = 33.5 units per week.
Good to know / Troubleshooting
The results are cached per article for two hours. New statistics data therefore appear in the report after at most two hours.
